Hyla avivoca

Bird-voice Tree Frogs have a loud, musical call that sounds similar to a person whistling for their dog. Hyla avivoca will breed in ephemeral wetlands, temporary pools and the shallow margins of permanent wetlands. Their appearance is very similar to Cope's Grey Tree Frog, but the Bird-voice Tree Frog is smaller and lacks the yellow 'flash colors' on the inside of the legs. Bird Voice Tree Frogs also have a white or yellow spot under their eye.

Bird Voice Tree Frogs are PREDICTED to occur in Fulton county, but are KNOWN from Dekalb county.
